At the moment, all providers of official WhatsApp have a “prepaid” work scheme: payment for all dialogues in WABA by providers is removed in full, and based on the results of the period, in the first days of the month following the billing month, a recalculation will be made and the amount for the first 1000 dialogue sessions will be returned to the clients account.

💸 GupShup, the official WhatsApp provider through which we integrate WABA, assured us that it will recalculate and return the funds withdrawn in February for the first 1000 24-hour sessions in early March, when it receives statistics on all clients from WhatsApp.
🛠 In our opinion, the official WhatsApp providers simply turned out to be technically unprepared for innovations in calculating the first 1000 free sessions, but they promise to quickly navigate and do it in a way that is convenient for customers.
👍 The good news is that the money will be returned, and in the future the discount will be taken into account immediately, it just takes time to programmatically adapt the providers' service in the context of WhatsApp innovations.
