Why do you need a green tick and how do you get one?
Meta has temporarily suspended the issuance of green checkmarks.
The green checkmark indicates the status of the official business account. It increases open rate because users open messages from the company rather than from an unknown number.
In addition to Facebook's terms of service and Community Standards, pages and profiles need to be:
- Represent a known, real person and company;
- Have an activity and a completed information and photo;
- Enable two-step verification;
- Verify the company's profile.
Facebook* verifies that a company is mentioned in news sources, with the exception of paid and promotional content.
You can add up to 5 links to articles from which it is evident that your business is in the public interest.
