Uploading files in ChatApp Dialog

You can send files from a single messenger window. This can be done in one of three ways:

• From the clipboard;
• Drag&Drop;
• Via an interface button.

Send from clipboard

1. Save the image, video, or file to clipboard. The image is used as an example;

2. Open the desired dialog in ChatApp Dialog;

3. Click on the message input line;

4. Use the keyboard shortcut Ctrl + V on Windows and Cmd + V on MacOS to paste the image/video/file;

5. The image, video, or file attached to the clipboard will be displayed in the interface. If necessary, write a message and click “Send”.

Drag&Drop

The second method of sending images, videos and files, Drag&Drop, is extremely easy to use.

1. In ChatApp Dialog select the desired dialog;

2. Select the desired image, video, or file on the desktop or in Explorer or Finder, for Windows and MacOS users, respectively;

3. LMB on the selected object and drag it to the correspondence window;

4. The attached image, video, or file will be displayed in the interface. If necessary, write a message and click "Send".

Via an interface button

The third option for sending images, videos, and files is to select them on your device through the ChatApp Dialog interface.

1. In ChatApp Dialog select the desired dialog;

2. Click the buttonin the message input line;

3. Select the desired section from the menu, for example, “Image”;

4. Attach the desired image, video, or file;

5. The attached image will be displayed in the interface in thumbnail format. If necessary, write a message and click “Send”;

View Attachments

Finding a specific file in a long conversation can be challenging. To avoid having to scroll through the chat thread in search of the required document, whether it’s an image, video, or file, use the “Attachments” option in the contact’s settings.

1. In ChatApp Dialog, select the desired dialog;

2. Click on the user profile icon;

3. In the menu that opens, select “Attachments”;

4. The tab will display the latest attachments from this dialog;

5. To see older attachments from the dialog, click "Load More".
